Marton Motel is ideal for the sports-minded, having numerous golf courses within 15 minutes' drive, fishing and white water rafting on the Rangitikei River, historical homestead tours, and many commercial gardens open to the public. The nearest cities are Palmerston North and Wanganui, both 30 minutes' drive away.
